How this works

The rule picker reads the same rule module as our rule pages and the qualifier tool. Pick a rule and its policy wording and source fill in, so the file quotes the platform the same way the site does. The wording is ours, written from Trustpilot’s flagging reasons and Google’s content policies.

Screenshots go through a normal file input. The browser reads them on your device and shows them from memory. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab clears them. “Save as PDF” opens the print dialog, which prints the file alone.

The limits: the file is for your records and your report, not a form the platforms ask for. Trustpilot decides every flag and Google decides every report. Questions about the evidence file

Neither has an upload for a file like this. Trustpilot asks you to choose a reason and highlight the words, and some reasons ask for documents. Google's report form is short, and its appeal gives you more room. Copy the plain text version into whichever box the platform gives you.

No. The file input reads them on your device, and the page shows them from memory. When you close the page they are gone. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.

Because you will need it again. An appeal, a second flag, a lawyer or a new staff member all ask the same questions. A dated page with the rule and the facts answers them without anyone having to rebuild it.
