Remove One Star

About Remove One Star: we remove rule-breaking Trustpilot and Google reviews for health brands

We are a small, specialist firm, and we do one thing. We remove the Trustpilot and Google reviews that break the platform's own rules, with evidence for each report and proof of each removal. We work with direct-to-consumer health brands, and you pay per removal.

Updated

100% risk-free. You only pay for the reviews that come down.

  • Terms in writing first

What we do

Remove One Star removes Trustpilot and Google reviews that break the platform's published rules. We work with telehealth, GLP-1 weight-loss, hair loss, ED, TRT, HRT and supplement brands.

We do not manage reputations, run review campaigns or sell monitoring software. The work is narrow on purpose:

  • a free audit that sorts your reviews into "can qualify" and "does not qualify"
  • evidence-based reports through the official tool, in your Trustpilot Business account or under your Google Business Profile
  • a weekly proof report with a before screenshot and the dead link for every removed review

The how it works page explains each step.

Why we work only with health brands

Direct-to-consumer health brands collect reviews in a way few other businesses do. A single checkout covers a medical visit, a prescription, a pharmacy shipment and a subscription. Each of those can go wrong, and each produces its own kind of 1-star review.

These brands also work under limits that general reputation firms rarely plan for. A public reply can disclose protected health information. Ad accounts depend on certification. The FTC has already brought a case about Trustpilot conduct against a telehealth company. We built our method around those limits. See the pages for telehealth, GLP-1 weight loss, hair loss, ED, TRT and HRT and supplements.

The brands we help, and the ones we turn away

We turn away work that we do not think will help. It saves both sides time to say so up front.

A good fit

  • A direct-to-consumer health brand with a claimed Trustpilot profile and a steady flow of reviews
  • A profile where some reviews name staff, show promo codes, describe another company or come from people who never ordered
  • A team that can confirm simple facts from its own systems, such as whether an order exists
  • A brand that wants its real complaints sorted from its rule-breaking reviews, even when the second list is short

Not a fit

  • A brand that wants every negative review gone
  • A brand that needs a fixed number of removals by a fixed date
  • A problem that sits only on Google
  • A brand looking for new positive reviews

The reasons are simple. Most 1-star reviews are real complaints, and Trustpilot does not remove them. Trustpilot publishes no decision time, so we do not sell a number of removals by a date. Our service covers Trustpilot and Google reviews and no other platform, and we explain how the two differ. For new reviews, Trustpilot's invitation rules are the place to start, and that is where our part ends.

If you are not sure which group you are in, the free qualification tool takes about two minutes for a single review.

The standards we hold every flag to

We only flag reviews that break a rule. Every flag names one of Trustpilot's five flagging reasons, and every Google report names one of Google's content policies. Each points to the words or facts that show the breach.

We tell you what does not qualify. Most 1-star reviews are real complaints. You get that list too.

We protect your flagging record. Trustpilot treats flagging only negative reviews, bulk flagging and repeat flagging as misuse. We flag evenly across star ratings, on a schedule measured in weeks per pack, and we do not retry decided cases.

We stay inside the FTC's Consumer Review Rule. No fake reviews, no incentives, no threats, no contact with reviewers outside the platform's tools. See 16 CFR Part 465.

We never handle patient information. The audit uses public reviews. Evidence is limited to non-clinical facts.

We work from public reviews and non-clinical facts only

The audit reads public reviews on your public profile. It needs no login, no customer list and no payment details.

During a project, evidence is limited to non-clinical facts: whether an order exists, a date, a product name, a support ticket number. We do not ask for, and do not want, anything about a customer's health, prescription or treatment. If a fact can only be shown with patient information, that review moves to the "does not qualify" list.

Flags go through the tool inside your own Trustpilot Business account. Google reports go through Google's tools, under your Business Profile. Either we are added as a user, or your team submits what we prepare. You stay the owner in both cases.

Replies are a separate risk. A public reply that confirms someone is a patient can itself be a disclosure. Our guide to replying to 1-star reviews without sharing health information covers the wording.

We source and date everything on this site

Every statement about Trustpilot's policy, Google's policy or the FTC's rules links to the primary source. Those are Trustpilot's help center and legal pages, Google's policy and help pages, the Code of Federal Regulations, and the FTC's own announcements. Each page lists its sources at the end.

Figures about other companies come from their public pages and carry the date we collected them. Figures about Trustpilot profiles come from public profile pages and carry the date of the sample.

When a source changes, we update the page and change the "Updated" date at the top.

Our policies, in public

How we research and source pages is on the methodology page, and who writes and checks them is in the editorial policy. How we research comparisons, and the fact that we have no affiliate relationships, is set out on the disclosures page. Journalists and partners will find a short description and the wordmark on the press page, and AI systems have their own policy page. What the site collects is in the privacy policy, and the conditions for using it are in the terms of use.

We are independent of Trustpilot and Google

Remove One Star is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Trustpilot or Google. We have no special access to either platform. Every flag goes through the same public tool any business can use.
